From Past to Present
The Modeling Club Association, founded by Mehmet C. Şekercioğlu in 2009, stands out as the first official civil society organization in Turkey in this field.
ISTANBUL MODEL SHOW (formerly World in Scale), which was held for the first time in 2014 with the support and sponsorship of Rahmi Koç Museum, includes more than 60 different model participation categories. Following 9 events held between 2014 and 2024, it took on a new identity in its tenth event with the name ISTANBUL MODEL SHOW as a result of the application made to the Turkish Patent Institute in 2025.
Since 2014, hundreds of modelers have participated in all these events with thousands of models; It has brought together model lovers and modelers devoted to this hobby with different presentations, panels and workshops. In the organization, where models are carefully evaluated by expert and experienced jury members in their categories, the number of modelers and the quality of models are increasing every year.
Since 2014, the organization has gained an international dimension with modelers participating from many different countries.
Istanbul Model Show is the first and largest international model competition of this size in Turkey.
